Brushpoint Innovations' focus has been on consumer products with patented technology and proprietary design in the battery operated toothbrush area. As competitive a category as you will find, this area was not exactly crying out for a new supplier. With no experience and totally unknown in the USA market, R Brands put together a team to cover the leading retailers that could support a program. Former Confab executives, Steve Peterson, Rich Swanson and Ric Durr covered the country and in the first year added distribution at Wal*Mart, Kroger, Meijer and CVS. The second year has started off strong with Walgreen's and HEB joining the ranks of good Brushpoint retail partners. The credibility of R Brands team has given BrushPoint an advantage, which has allowed them to get off on the right foot within the industry.
