Harrie J. Driessen
Harrie Driessen was born in the Netherlands and joined Johnson & Johnson Europe in Brussels, Belgium in 1983 where he held increasingly responsible positions in sales and marketing. In 1989 he moved to the corporate headquarters in New Jersey and became Director Sales and Marketing for the Johnson & Johnson Advanced Materials division with responsibility for sales and marketing of a number of consumer (hygiene products, band-aids), medical (gown and gauze) and industrial (filtration, automotive liners) products, managing a staff of 17 direct employees and 70 brokers across the USA with sales of $140 million.

Mr. Driessen joined Confab in 1995 as Vice President Sales and Marketing and Strategic Planning in the International division and soon thereafter became Managing Director based in London for the European division with $30 million dollar in sales of private label feminine hygiene, adult incontinence and tampons.

In 1998, Mr. Driessen started his own consulting company and advised consumer companies such as Arquest USA (baby Diapers), Rockline Europe (baby wipes) and Snapware USA (food containers), Peapod USA (online groceries) in business development, international sales, strategic planning and M&A activities. He also was partner in Natoora, a start-up company in Paris, France for fresh food home deliveries where he assisted in the business planning and initial round of seed financing.

Mr. Driessen joined Lander in 2000 as Executive Vice President International responsible for all business activities outside North America. Lander is a manufacturer of Health and Beauty products with sales of $70 million dollars. He successfully entered Mexico and negotiated multiple listings with Wal-Mart in Mexico and Brazil. He also negotiated licensing agreements and partnerships to increase revenues and brand exposure. He was part of the Management team that successfully sold the company to a Venture Capital group in 2003. Mr. Driessen subsequently continued his International Business Consulting business and represents Ascendia Brands (Baby magic, Binaca, Mr. Bubble, Calgon, etc.) worldwide and has contacts with retailers like Wal-Mart, Costco, Asda, etc. He has also does consulting work for various consumer and B2B companies internationally.

Mr. Driessen has a Business degree from the University of Nyenrode in The Netherlands and did graduate studies at the University of Mannheim in Germany. He lived in 7 countries, did work in over 80 countries and speaks multiple languages and has a keen understanding of consumer marketing, private label business and international business planning both in the USA and internationally. He has developed business skills in multiple industries and products, is very adaptable and analytical.
