Steve Peterson
Steve Peterson has 40 years experience in the consumer products field both in the branded and private label sides of the business.  He started his career with the Johnson & Johnson Baby Products Company.  Over a 16-year period, he moved through positions of entry-level sales rep, District Manager, Region Manager, Director of National Accounts & Broker Sales to running the entire sales organization as Director of Sales.  

He moved on to become the National Sales Manager at Alberto Culver responsible for 80 sales representatives and $75 million in revenue.

In 1987, Mr. Peterson joined Confab, Inc as the Vice President of New Products where he had the direct responsibility for developing four new private label product segments in the fields of incontinent pads, tampons, environment friendly items and baby wipes.

Since 1994, Mr. Peterson has been involved with developing organizations and selling to major retailers in Continental Europe and the UK. In 1994, Mr. Peterson became the President of the Confab International Division.  He led the growth of this division from $4 million to $20 million in sales over a four-year period.

In 1998, Mr. Peterson was named Managing Director of Rockline Industries where he had the P&L responsibility for the entire organization.   He recruited and managed a team that quadrupled sales in Continental Europe and the UK. In addition, he personally negotiated a $1,250,000 grant from the UK Regional Government Board.

In 2002, Mr. Peterson joined the Sports Socks Company, Ireland, a division of the $2.5 billion Kellwood Company, as the Managing Director in charge of 260 people and two manufacturing facilities. In 2004, Kellwood made the decision to sell the company and focus on their North American business. Mr. Peterson led the European team that insured the successful sale.

Mr. Peterson returned to the USA in 2004 and began working with Rbrands on several business opportunities. Most recently, he has been the lead person working with Brushpoint, a Canadian oral care battery & rechargeable toothbrush company, coordinating the selling efforts and directly involved with key retailers.

Mr. Peterson has proven interpersonal and problem solving skills.  He is a natural motivator, cultivating team spirit that creates a work environment for the achievement of successful results.  He believes in being directly involved with customers to obtain the business .
